Curiosity and satisfaction - Virgina's rising stars

The more I thought about, the more it made sense.  How could I justify traveling to New York City  to check out several of Virginia's rising stars when I could travel locally and visit each on their own turf before they arrived at the James Beard House?

I invite you to follow me as I venture out and explore the cuisine of chefs the James Beard House has dubbed, "Virginia's Rising Stars":

Bertrand Chemel: 2941 Restaurant, Falls Church, VA

David Dunlap: The Ashby Inn, Paris, VA

Pastry Chef Caitlin Dysart: 2941 Restaurant, Falls Church, VA

Austin Fausett: Trummer’s on Main, Clifton, VA

Dylan Fultineer: Rappahannock Restaurant, Richmond, VA

Tim Ma: Water & Wall, Arlington, VA

Owner/Mixologist Stefan Trummer:Trummer’s on Main, Clifton, VA

I look forward to exploring, learning and above all else, having fun! Albeit traveling to Richmond may take a little longer, but that's what road trips are about.  Let the adventure begin!

Be well,
