August 7: National Raspberries in Cream Day
August 8: National Zucchini Day, National Frozen Custard Day AND National Rice Pudding Day
How do you eat your oysters? On the half shell? With a dash of hot sauce? Smoked? Fried? My earliest memories of oysters are of my mother enjoying smoked oysters and speaking fondly of a New Orleans restaurant that made oyster po'boys just right.
