I received a message about the significance of the "logo" that was recently added to the Technicolor dining blog site.The "logo" is actually a badge from BlogHer. BlogHer was founded in 2005 by three women in response to the question, "where are the women bloggers?". BlogHer is an opportunity for women bloggers to gain greater exposure, education and community through training, conference and exchange of ideas.
Interested individuals must apply for the Social Media Influencer network badge. The Social Media Influencer programs are specifically designed to live on the applicant's social media platform of choice. Mine lives on my blog and the Technicolor dining Twitter page.
I'm delighted that the application was approved. I'm hopeful that being a member of the Social Media Influencer Network will attract food and beverage related sponsors in the future.
Will being a member of the Blogher Social Media Influencer Network change the content that will appear on the blog site? No. I'll still continue to chronicle my journey and through all things dining related.
The lineup of activities scheduled for 2015 is growing; I hope that you will continue to follow my journey and share your feedback.
