November 6: National Nachos Day
November 7: Bittersweet Chocolate with Almonds Day
November 8: National Cappuccino Day AND National Harvey Wallbanger Day
November 9: National Scrapple Day AND Cook Something Bold & Pungent Day

I discovered scrapple when I moved to the Mid-Atlantic region after college. The café in the building where I worked offered it for breakfast. When I asked a member of the staff what scrapple was the woman found it hard to explain to me what it was. A week later I was in the supermarket and saw a package of scrapple. My curiosity was satisfied.
A Harvey Wallbanger is a mixed drink made with orange juice, vodka and
Galliano ( a sweet, herbal liqueur). As a child my mother would occasionally make Harvey Wallbanger cakes featuring Galliano and orange juice.
Many thanks to
the Nibble for cataloging the food holidays. Which holidays will you celebrate? Which holidays are you curious about? If you make a Harvey Wallbanger cake, save me a slice, please!
Have a great week!
Be well,
Technicolor girl
