Ready to meet the Magic Whisky Cow?

After a full and busy week I am ready to do something fun. Catoctin Creek's  Bottling Day event seems like the perfect answer.

Here are the details from Catoctin Creek:

Catoctin Creek Distilling Company will conduct a BOTTLING DAY on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10:00am. Volunteers wanted. We'll buy breakfast for all that attend.  This is always such a fun workshop, and now we're in the new building! Come and see the new space!

Learn how to bottle, cap, seal, and label Roundstone Rye "92 Proof". Get your chance to work the magic "whisky cow"! Or maybe you'd like to try your hands at operating "Ninette", our fussy French labeling machine!

This is a fun and informative day! We'll start the morning off with breakfast and a tour from the owners, Scott and Becky Harris, explaining how we make our hand-crafted spirits, then for about 90 minutes, we bottle whisky, and wrap up the morning with a tasting of our spirits!  How cool is that?

Sounds very cool to me. My spot was confirmed earlier this week. The event is now sold out.  I'm ready to meet the magic cow and to see if I can keep operate Madame Ninette properly; wish me well.  Stay tuned for details on how the day went.

If you see me at the bottling event, please say hello.

Be well,

Technicolor girl
