It's the first day of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere. I awakened to steady snowfall and radio reports of school closings. My faith in the Old Farmer's Almanac grows steadily - they predicted snow last week and this week for various sections of the East Coast of the United States. I won't complain toomuch - friends and family in New England tell me that they still don't see land.
I've decided to shift my attention from the snow to thinking about the weekend. The weather prediction is in the 60s and I'm looking forward to skating. Roller skating - specifically Roller Derby Skating.

On 18 March Catoctin Creek was announced Technicolor Dining was one of the ticket winners. Thank you Catoctin Creek and thank you kitchen gods! I remember watching Roller derby matches on television with my mom when I was child.
I am confident that Nicole (who I know by personal experience is very knowledgeable about spirits and wine) and her Metro Misfits teammates will start the season off on a high note.
